When I am not teaching your students, I am hanging out with mine. I have 4 beautiful kids and a wonderful wife of 15 years. I attend Bethel Baptist Church. I am a graduate of Moody High School and I finished my degree at UAB. I have lived in the community for 20 years and am very excited about the growth we are experiencing. I look forward to a long career at Moody and I look forward to teaching your child.
I am one of those teachers who considers my work a calling and not a job. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing that light come on when a student gets a concept. It is also a great reward when a student comes back and tells me that I touched their life in some way. There have been many jokes made about teachers salaries and what exactly teachers make. If you ask me what I make, I will simply say "I make a difference in the life of a student, and that's worth more than any amount of money."
